and Moin, as we say in Northern Germany.

For each of my professions there is a story behind. I assume it is the same with you. Colleagues and students prompted me to become an author. First ideas occurred during a coffee break in the garden of a hospital. A colleague and I reflected on the topic of our work as consultants and the people in the project. Years later students asked for a shorter version of the comprehensive reading list for their seminar: "Just in one book, couldn't you ...?" And both, colleagues and students, plus family and friends encouraged and supported me. Thank you all so much.

The work with patients, students, clients, colleagues, managers and staff members led to the selection of my motto ... or was and is it just the other way round?

"If you want to build a ship,

don't drum up the men to gather wood,

divide the work and give orders.

Instead, teach them to yearn

for the vast and endless sea."

[attributed to Antoine de Saint Exupéry 1900-1944]
